Caleb and Sarah were born and raised worlds apart. Well, at least continents apart. Sarah was born and raised, the youngest of three, in Puerto Ordaz, Venezuela, where her parents served as missionaries. Caleb was raised in Georgia, one of seven children. They both had the privilege of being raised in homes where Christ was magnified.
They met in College while studying in two different programs, Caleb in Biblical Studies and Sarah in Music, but shared a deep love and passion for the gospel. God used ministry opportunities to confirm their desire for full time missions. Sarah was able to minister in China for 4 weeks in 2007, and they both conducted a 6-week apprenticeship program in Japan in the summer of 2009 as partial fulfillment of Caleb's degree.
Caleb and Sarah were married in June 2008. Caleb graduated in 2010 and in February of 2011 they visited Sarah's parents who serve in Spain as missionaries. While not interested at the time of serving in Spain, God touched their hearts during this trip, and through prayer and counsel over the next four months, confirmed this burden. While preparing and raising support, they are actively serving in their home church in the senior high and college programs.
In 2016 Caleb graduated from Virginia Beach Theological Seminary with a Master of Arts degree in Biblical Studies.
